Swiss Re’s reputation as a leader in the insurance industry is not by chance. As a company, Swiss Re is passionate about attracting and developing talent, and sparking innovation throughout the industry. Swiss Re strongly believes in the power of innovation and is continually working to promote this culture within the company.

As a result of this continuous effort, Swiss Re is hosting their first hackathon in Bratislava, Slovakia. Talented designers and developers who have a passion for developing user based apps, data science, and cognitive technology are all invited to participate and compete for a grand prize money 10,000 EUR for the 1st place!

The challenge: Individuals will form teams of up to 5 people and will have a total of 48 hours to develop a new web or mobile app, centered on the theme „My Personal Risk Advisor”

The place is limited to 100 participants, who will be selected from the pool of registered participants under discretion of the event organizer.

Where

The event will take place at our 0100Campus in Bratislava from Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 9, 2017 when the winning team will be announced.

For those selected participants who will be traveling to Bratislava, financial support for travel cost and accommodation is available subject to Swiss Re discretion.
